"Love, Tears, and Joy: a musical encounter with humanity"
in Italian and English language
A kind and smiling alien asks a singer about humans and what is happening on planet Earth. The response comes through dialogues and plenty of music, a universal language that transcends every barrier. "Love, Tears, and Joy" was born in the summer of 2023 from an idea by singer and actress Cristina Barzi, who then staged it in the autumn of the same year as a musical fairy tale, accompanied by excellent musicians. An alternation of stories and songs about various aspects of humanity, told through a repertoire of Swing, Blues, World Music, Pop, Afro, and original compositions. An exciting and playful journey, beyond space and time, in the company of the imaginary extraterrestrial.
